The debate on how much effort and resource a business should invest in social media for engagement continues, and the jury is still out in my opinion.

However we at BusinessBlogs.co.nz have found that social networks are increasing our website inbound traffic by 30-40% and the good news is we are spending less time in social networks to achieve this amazing growth. How are we doing it? Well we are no longer spending any manual time updating our social media profiles.

To make an investment of any kind today, one needs to have an excellent credit history. Every creditor, before taking a decision regarding approval of credit, will ask for the credit history of the applicant. He can find this information in the credit report. Credit reports are prepared by three main agencies in the United States. They are Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. He might request reports from one or more of these agencies. He will then go through your credit history on the report. The reports are up to date and will contain details of every single credit you have and the different transactions with each of these credit accounts.

China, set to move its dollar peg for the yuan, could end up with a weaker currency not a stronger one, according to Nouriel Roubini.

It all comes down to the euro, which has depreciated against the dollar significantly over the last few months. China may have to follow that course of depreciation as well, making the yuan less valuable vis-a-vis the dollar, according Roubini.

While treasury yields might boom as a result of China’s managed float Monday, this could have a more long term impact on the China-U.S.

FCC Effort to Regulate the Internet Jeopardizes Jobs

WASHINGTON, D.C.–”The U.S. Chamber of Commerce today expressed deep concern about the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) notice of inquiry (NOI) on the best legal framework for broadband Internet access. “Regulating the dynamic, competitive broadband industry with rules originally designed for monopoly-era telephone service should not be an option,” said William L. Kovacs, senior vice president for Environment, Technology, and Regulatory Affairs at the U.S. Chamber.

The landlord of the 1910 Medical Clinic’s Ellenton office has filed a lawsuit to evict the clinic because of what he says is an invalid rental lease.

Landlord Eddie Parsley says clinic owner Warren K. Gold unfairly amended the lease by handwriting-in two new terms to which Parsley did not agree.

But the clinic, located in the Plaza at Plantation Bay, will not be picking up overnight and moving as it did from its Bradenton location.

The clinic’s St. Petersburg attorney is arguing Parsley’s claim is “prejudicial” and that he is seeking a technical loophole to close the clinic because of complaints from plaza tenants and neighbors.
