Indiana business award program now accepting nominations

The Indiana Companies to Watch awards program is now accepting nominations and applications.

The program recognizes privately-held Indiana businesses with between six and 150 full-time employees and between $750,000 and $100 million in annual revenue or working capital.

Companies can either apply in their own name or be nominated by another party. Nominations are due March 29, and applications are due April 12.

A panel of judges will review the applications and select winners based on past growth, projected success, innovation, technology application and community involvement.

Winners will be announced in July, and an awards dinner will take place Aug. 26 in Indianapolis.

The program, now in its third year, is presented by the Indiana Economic Development Corp., its Small Business Development Center network, Purdue University and the Edward Lowe Foundation.
